Master Of Lingfield Strikes Again
Master Of My Fate is having a winter to remember and his golden period continued at Lingfield on Saturday. This was his best performance to date and rubber stamped his affinity to the Surrey venue.
There were shades of ‘El Astronaute’ about his early gate speed and after coming out like a rocket Master Of My Fate found himself in front in the early stages of the race. Jason was then able to dictate matters on his own terms throughout the race. Coming down the hill he sat against his mount and was able to fill him up in preparation for the finish. On entering the home straight horse and rider kicked again and drew away to win impressively by nearly three lengths at the line.
Master Of My Fate holds entries for later in the week and given his current vein of form he seems likely to be a formidable opponent for a little while yet. He continues to climb the All Weather Horse Of The Year charts. First prize for the that contest is £100,000 with prize money down to 20th place of £10,000.
