A Winner on The Knavesmire

We were thrilled to celebrate another winner on The Knavesmire at York on the first day of the prestigious Dante meeting, as Dark Thirty took the £60,000 Churchill Tyres Handicap for owners Dark Thirty Partners under Jason Hart. We bought him out of the Tattersalls Autumn Horses in Training sale and he certainly looks a good buy now. We would’ve loved to find a few more like him at that sale but they were hard to buy. He was a horse that had rock-solid form at tracks like York and Newmarket and you couldn’t fluke that form. It wasn’t a case of having to improve him for today, just having to sweeten him up and hope there was a good day in him. When a plan comes together! Well done to all of our team.
